The position is responsible for support of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) solutions
Key Responsibilities
Identifying errors and taking correction action, reconciling EDI transactions by coordinating information with internal and external partners, working with the Accounting Department, Production, and external trading partners to maintain EDI integrity. This requires interaction within the company and externally with trading partners for day-to-day support of EDI issues. The tasks may involve making manual corrections as required to the transactions
Partner and collaborate with other teams to resolve client issues
Use problem-solving techniques to analyze problems and provide resolutions with limited assistance from others
Contribute to the monitoring and end to end stability of client EDI production environments
Support business unit specific strategy and initiatives around EDI support and trading partner management
Regular duties will include, but not be limited to, setting up new trading partners, testing new and existing trading partner data maps and monitoring communication system and job status
Responsible for advanced troubleshooting with new and existing trading partners to solve communication and data quality issues
Required Skills
5+ years of experience as an EDI Support
Proficient in handling protocols like FTP, SFTP FTPS, HTTP/ s, AS2.
Complete understanding of 850 PO (inbound), 810 invoice (outbound), 856 Ship notice (outbound) and 846 inventory report (outbound) EDI documents
Experience in daily operation of the EDI software systems, monitoring transmission reports and interfacing with trading partners
Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Logical, efficient & proactive
Keen attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate ideas
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
