Position Overview

The Senior BizTalk Developer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining complex integration solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server, EDI ANSI X12 and other standard data formats

Key Responsibilities

• Collects, understands, and documents customer and vendor requirements and technical specifications

• Develops and programs the actual interfaces to and from various partners and applications

• Researches, analyzes, and evaluates technical requirements and specifications for the seamless integration of various computing models that may bring together disparate pieces of new and emerging technologies

• Performs all tasks in the development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, and testing

• Utilizes available integration & programming methodologies and adheres to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation

• Reviews work for compliance within the established guidelines of national and international standards organization

• Understands the overall business strategy, to analyze the business processes to develop technical solutions to support the business strategy

• Performs all other related duties as assigned 

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience required as a BizTalk developer

• Experience developing EDI ANSI X12 based integration solutions

• Experience in .NET and SQL Server development

• Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Logical, efficient & proactive

• Keen attention to detail

• Ability to effectively communicate ideas

• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

• Comfortable with ambiguity and possess an ability to adapt quickly and easily. Ability to analyze complex problems and move them to resolution
