Responsibilities
- Thorough understanding and hands-on experience in developing large-scale native Android App.
- Able to develop a comprehensive understanding of requirements from current system implementation.
- Remain enthusiastically up-to-date on the latest Android Technologies, trends and new features.
- Independently build complex android App processes that are successfully delivered to customers.
- Continuously renovate the current Apps to the latest trends and be responsible for maintenance and backward compatibility as well.
- Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Be able to exert mental as-well-as physical strength to perform efficiently in stress-full conditions.
- Be able to complete tasks in a given time period i.e. Meet Dead-Lines.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Work efficiently both within the team and individually
Technical Skills:
- Experience with API development, RESTful web services, platform development.
- Strong programming background and familiarity with Object-Oriented languages (i.e. Java, C++)
- Experience publishing or updating an Android application on the Google Play Store.
- Strong OOP and data structure concepts.
- Experience in developing client-server Apps.
- Experience in designing multi-threaded applications.
- Strong debugging skills. Should be familiar with profiling app, memory usage analysis, bandwidth usage analysis.
- Good database design skills.
- Experience with 3rd APIs (Retrofit)
- Experience with Git, MySQL, XML, JSON, and Web Services
- Knowledge of Dagger, Room Persistence Library.
- Knowledge of Broadcast Receiver, Services.
- Experience with MVP and MVVM
- Ability to handle Multi-thread and UI threads.
- Common knowledge of different networking protocols particularly TCP/IP.
- Working experience with Android studio will be plus.
- Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs, push notifications,
- Experience with offline storage, multithreading and performance tuning.
- Understanding of Google’s design principles and interface guidelines
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented programming.
- Experience with 3rd party APIs and payment gateways
