Overall Purpose of Job: Supports Logistics transaction planning and processing efforts to ensure all logistic activities within the group are delivered on time and in the most cost effective manner and ensuring customer expectations are being met in an efficient and effective manner
Responsibilities:
· Develop and Executes logistics and freight plans to support business and operational needs based on requirements
· Executes established Logistics plans in line with OES policies and procedures to support operational requirements of OES
· Oversees the smooth running of OMC Logistics processes and procedures
· Works to effectively remove any obstacles to ensure optimal delivery of services to the highest standards thereby achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Ensures Container deposit refund are remitted in cases where the company makes financial commitment
· Ensures customs agents process Temporary Importation Permits when required and ensures that TIP is properly closed at the end of TIP process
· Produces/provides periodic updates and required management reports covering service ordering, order tracking, purchase orders and contracts, service order delivery scheduling and costs.
· Works to effectively remove any obstacles to ensure optimal delivery of services to the highest standards thereby achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
· With appropriate direction, assesses, and resolves service delivery issues; supports the negotiation of successful resolutions to problems or customer concerns.
Zoom Petroleum Private Limited (ZPPL) is an Oil Marketing Company (OMC), a subsidiary of the Mehar Group which is an already established name in the field of petroleum logistics and retail. Mehar Group operates a number of petroleum retail outlets selling fuel and lubricants under franchises from other OMCs i.e. Shell, PSO, Caltex and Total etc. In addition, Mehar Group owns and operates 35 CNG filling stations. Mehar Groups portfolio also includes a logistics setup comprising of fuel storage and transportation facilities. Currently the Group is handling a vast fleet of vehicles of various capacities to transport petroleum products from Karachi, Mehmoodkot, and Machike to other destinations in Pakistan. The group owns storage facilities in Gujranwala and Gatti (Faisalabad) and has rented out another storage facility from Admore at Machike. ZPPL envisions forming a network of retail outlets and logistics infrastructure across the country to provide quality service to customers and to facilitate in meeting the ever-increasing requirement of petroleum products. The company plans to transfer the current Mehar Group retail outlets into ZPPL./p
