Food Technologist

Zoqi & Zoqi (Pvt.) Ltd. is an institution of hospitality professionals who require a FOOD TECHNOLOGIST for its Catering Setup in Saudi Arabia. We are a Saudi Government Approved Catering Service organization in the Holy City of Makkah and provide complete food solution services to both International Hajj and Umrah Tour Operators at both Government & Private levels.

Responsibilities vary greatly but may include:

Generating new product ideas and recipes
Modifying and improving existing recipes
Designing menus, processes and machinery for the production of recipes on a large scale.
Ensuring that strict hygiene food safety standards are met.
Identifying and choosing products from suppliers.
Testing and examining samples
Addressing issues of safety and quality
Safe and efficient development, modification and manufacture of food products and processes.
To ensure all local applicable laws and regulations relating to food hygiene and safety.
To set and implement food hygiene, food production and food packaging standards, while also ensuring that the environment, raw materials, utensils, machinery and other related facilities being used are fit for the purpose of food production/packaging.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Knowledge of food and drink products
Knowledge of food processing and production methods
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good team working abilities
The ability to work independently
Attention to detail especially food & hygiene
Strong Analytical & Numerical skills
