Graphic Designer

VM Art Gallery is looking for “Graphic Designer” and the ideal candidate shall have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design. Also, he/she have the experience of working on different design platforms such as digital and print forms. Portfolio is required along with the resume.

Essential job functions are as follow:

·Responsible for social media management, content creation and designing for the VM Art Gallery and the related events/projects

·Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials and requirements of the event

·Develop illustrations, logos, layouts and other designs using software’s or social media tools

·Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing, well communicated and on-brand

·Able to work independently and coordinates with internal teams, including Art Director and content writer, in the design concept phase through completion of a project.

·Coordinate with external parties including web developers, printers, photographers and colleagues as necessary

·Manage the design and uploading process of all the project material, understanding best practices for using a content management system

·Have knowledge of website designing and can upload all the material, make changes as and when required

·Report writing and maintain and represent social media insights data and suggest improvements

·Report to Line Manager on all projects at regular intervals to inform on the issues and seek the counsel as required and also act a strategic planner of the ongoing or upcoming projects/events.
