The Rupali Group is an established leading corporation in the Petrochemical industry, responsible for producing

the primary raw materials for the downstream Textile industry of Pakistan. The Groups’ focus is in diversified
commercial interests ranging from manufacturing, importing, exporting and catering to producers of various cloth
and fabric variants within the Textile Industries. Of these variants, the Group is able to capture a majority of the
market share in knitting, weaving, bed sheets, sportswear, and water jet users.
Manage the overall IT Infrastructure by lead the 35 IT team including (Database Administrator, Network
Administrator, Programmer, Deputy Managers, Assistant Manager, Web Developer, System support officers)
My Major projects are (Sophos Cloud base Antivirus, Radio Link Up-gradation, Microsoft Emails, System Up-
gradation)
I have to report to directors for all IT related issue that needs to be discussed on weekly basis. My responsibilities
are
1. Manage information technology and computer systems
2. Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
3. Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and
appraising their performance
4. Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
5. Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
6. Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
7. Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
8. Audit systems and assess their outcomes
9. Preserve assets, information security and control structures
10. Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness

Implementation, configuration and troubleshooting of network infrastructure consisting of Cisco, 3Com & Nortel routers \\ switches. Monitoring and checking logs of switches using software’s Cisco Works, What, s up, GFI Network Monitoring, and HP Open View. Configuring and troubleshooting of Wireless Networks consisting of Cisco access points. Documenting and creating maps for the network infrastructure using Microsoft Visio. Addressing performance bottlenecks and ensuring maximum network uptime.
• Second and third level support for network related issues.
• Prepared documentation and Visio diagrams that described in detail the network infrastructure helped in enhancing the productivity of the Network Operations Center NOC
• Initiated and established processes for network documentation and change management. Initiatives significantly improved network uptime and provided a basis for conforming to SLA agreements with internal and external customers
• Team Leader for Network Optimization project where in network was redesigned for the site by replacing access layer switches with higher / lower capacity depending upon the network requirements, resulting in lower cost for spare parts.
