<div><p>June 25, 2010: SAUDI ARAMCO TOTAL Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP), a company that is 62.5% owned by Saudi Aramco and 37.5% owned by TOTAL signed on June 24, 2010, the finance documents for US$8.5 billion of senior project finance facilities that have been secured for the Jubail refinery.</p>
<p>The availability of the financing marks another important step in the progress of this 400,000 barrels per day world-class, full conversion refinery in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, which is scheduled to be operational in 2013.</p>
<p>Finances totalling US$8.5 billion were secured from multiple sources including US$4.01 billion from the Public Investment Fund and Export Credit Agencies (covered and direct), and US$4.49 billion from commercial financial institutions.</p>
<p>The senior loan facilities have a tenor of 16 years with an all in pricing of 1.85% (above LIBOR) for the US Dollar commercial and Export Credit Agencies (ECA) covered loan facilities.</p>
<p>The financing has been very well received by a diverse group of local, regional and international banks, with commitments received for over US$13.5 billion.</p>
<p>The International Initial Mandated Lead Arrangers are:Credit Agricole - CIB; Société Générale; Kfw - IPEX Bank; Deutsche Bank; HSBC; Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ; Mizuho Corporate Bank; Standard Chartered Bank; Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation; Export Development Canada; Arab Bank; Barclays; Citibank; JP Morgan; Royal Bank of Scotland; Arab Petroleum Investments Corporation; and Gulf International Bank.</p>
<p>The Saudi Arabian Initial Mandated Lead Arrangers are:Banque Saudi Fransi; Riyad Bank; Samba Financial Group; Arab National Bank; Saudi British Bank; National Commercial Bank; Al Rajhi Bank; Alinma Bank; Saudi Hollandi Bank; Islamic Development Bank; Bank Al-Jazira; and Saudi Investment Bank.</p>
<p>Participation from Export Credit Agencies includes the following:Korea Export Insurance Corporation (KEIC); Compañía Española de Seguros de Crédito a la Exportación (CESCE); Export-Import Bank of Korea (K-EXIM); Compagnie Française d'Assurance pour le Commerce Extérieur (COFACE); Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC); Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI); and Euler Hermes Kreditversicherungs-AG (Hermes).</p>
<p>Credit Agricole CIB and Banque Saudi Fransi have acted as financial advisors to SATORP and Allen & Overy as SATORP’s international and local legal counsel.</p>
<p>Société Générale has acted as Documentation Bank on the conventional tranche and Crédit Agricole CIB as Documentation Bank for the Islamic Tranche. Linklaters LLP has acted as lenders’ international legal counsel and Abdulaziz H. Fahad as lenders’ local legal counsel.</p>
<p>When completed, the refinery will be one of the most advanced refineries in the world and will process Arabian Heavy crude. Its products will fulfil the most stringent specifications, to meet the rising demand for environmentally-friendly fuels.</p>
<p>The full-conversion refinery will maximize production of diesel and jet fuels and will also produce 700,000 metric tons per year (t/y) of paraxylene, 140,000 t/y of benzene and 200,000 t/y of polymer-grade propylene.</p>
<p>The synergies between Saudi Aramco and TOTAL lie in the fact that both companies bring knowledge and expertise to the joint venture company. Saudi Aramco’s crude oil supply is located near Jubail, a world-class industrial area and TOTAL is an international oil company with a fully integrated value chain and a global presence.</p></div>
<div><p>SABIC selected Técnicas Reunidas for a petrochemical project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia SABIC, through its 100% subsidiary, Petrokemya, has awarded to Técnicas Reunidas (TR) an EPC contract to build a grassroots 140KTA Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) Plant located in AI-Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The plant will be an addition to the Petrokemya Complex, and will utilize Emulsion ABS technology licensed from SABIC Innovative Plastics. The project awarded to TR includes the Chemical Storage unit, Polybutadiene Latex (PBL) unit, High Rubber Graft (HRG) unit, Styrene Acrylonitrile (SAN) unit, Compounding unit, Utilities, Packaging unit, Acrylonitrile Unloading, Storage and Pipeline Facility, PK-East Supply of Feedstocks and Utilities. TR will carry out all the detailed engineering, the procurement and supply of the equipment and materials, the construction of the plant and the pre commissioning. The plant will be completed in 2014. The contract awarded has an approximate value of 400 million dollars. With the award of TR´s twelfth contract in the demanding Saudi market, in which TR has been working continuously since 2003, TR demonstrates the confidence gained by world-class customers. TR is also very pleased to continue its ongoing relationship with SABIC, of which TR is currently collaborating in several projects. <div><h4>Ma’aden Wa’ad Al Shamal Phosphate Company (MWSPC)</h4>
<p>MWSPC is a USD 8 billion (SAR 31 billion) joint venture investment of which Ma’aden owns 60%. The Ma’aden’s Wa’ad Al Shamal Fertilizer Production Complex is located in Wa’ad Al Shamal Minerals Industrial City, in the Northern Province of Saudi Arabia. The Complex includes seven world-class plants and associated facilities, including Beneficiation Plant, Phosphoric Acid Plant, Sulfuric Acid Plant, Di-Ammonium Phosphate, Granulation Plant. These plants make the Complex one of the largest phosphate production complexes in the world.</p>
<p>MWSPC can produce 3 million tons of fertilizer products, such as Di-Ammonium Phosphate, Mono-Ammonium Phosphate, Nitro Phosphate and Nitrogen, and Phosphate & Potassium fertilizers, complementary plants to produce Ammonia and Ammonium Phosphate-based Fertilizers were built at Ras Al Khair Industrial City in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, with the North-South Railway links Ras Al Khair Industrial City and Wa’ad Al Shamal Minerals Industrial City. With the commissioning of this Ma’aden Wa’ad Al Shamal Fertilizer Production Complex, Ma’aden’s became a leading player in the global phosphates market.</p></div>
<div><p>The Green Duba integrated solar combined-cycle (ISCC) power plant is a 600MW project under construction in Tabuk along the Red Sea coast, in the north-western region of Saudi Arabia.</p>
<p>Being implemented by state-owned Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), Green Duba will be Saudi Arabia’s first fossil fuel-fired power plant to utilise solar energy for more efficient power generation.</p>
<p>The integrated project consists of a 550MW gas/condensate-fired combined-cycle facility and a parabolic trough type concentrated solar power (CSP) facility capable of generating up to 50MW of additional electricity.</p>
<p>The environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the project was filed in 2014, while construction works were started after the award of key contracts in 2015.</p></div>
<div><p>he Project involves construction and operation of a 102 MW run-of-the-river hydroelectric power generation facility on Poonch River some 28 kms upstream from Mangla, Pakistan s second largest water storage reservoir. The Project will be developed under Power Policy 2002 under which ADB has financed several projects and will be undertaken on a BOOT basis for a period of 30 years (from the commercial operations date). Total Project cost (including interest during construction, exchange rate variations, and contingencies) is estimated at $365.1 million.</p></div>
<div><p>The Dasu hydropower project (DHP) includes the construction of a 4,320MW hydropower plant on the Indus River near Dasu town in Kohistan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province, Pakistan.</p>
<p>The project is located approximately 74km downstream of the Diamer Basha Dam, 240km upstream of the Tarbela Dam, and 345km from Islamabad.</p>
<p>The run-of-the-river hydropower project is being developed in two stages by Pakistan’s Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA). It is part of the hydropower development projects included in the Vision 2025 Program envisaged by WAPDA in 2001 and the Power Policy 2013 of the Government of Pakistan (GOP).</p>
<p>A total of 12 hydropower units rated at 360MW each will be installed, which includes six in the first phase and six in the second.</p>
<p>Phase one will have an annual output capacity of 12,300GWh, while phase two completion would increase the same to 21,700GWh.</p></div>
