I am project management professional having experience in leading implementation of different humanitarian and development programs with national and International NGOs. I have led implementation of projects on Education, advocacy, and DRR projects on WASH and Livelihoods in emergency and early recovery phases.I have led research projects on Cash Transfer programming and Kitchen Gardening.
I have worked with Action Against Hunger-ACF-USA, University of Mannheim-Germany, Indus Resource Center (IRC), Sami Foundation and Research and Development Foundation (RDF).
I have lead the implementation of two long term projects with Action Against Hunger-USA in Pakistan and three other projects with national NGOs in Pakistan. I have also been part of senior management team at Action Against Hunger-USA and IRC.
I have worked in challenging contexts of conflict and IDPs camps of Bannu (KPK province- north Pakistan) and Dadu (Sindh-province) of Pakistan in food security project focusing kitchen gardening. In addition to this, I have also worked in flood emergency in 2010 and 2011 floods in Pakistan and drought emergency response 2018 in food security and Early Recovery Marketing System (ERMS).
I have been leading large teams of up-to 85 full-time staff along with working with different stakeholders (national and international) for coordination and research uptake. My experience ranges from working on projects/programs funded by USAID/OFDA, Concern Worldwide Rapid Fund, DFID, EU, ECHO, SIDA, Trocaire.
I did Master in Anthropology from Quaid-Azam University Islamabad, with Bachelors in English Language and Literature.
