Dear Sir/Madam
As a seasoned restaurant professional, and devoted fan of Professional Eatries, I wanted to apply for the position of assistant restaurant manager.
For the past 8+ years, I have worked in a variety of positions at quick serve restaurants, from cook, to cashier, to line manager. In addition, I have spent the last 1+ year as a server at
Rinas Kitchennete and feel qualified to take on more responsibility as an assistant manager.
From my experience as a server, I understand how restaurants function: from the importance of an excellent front desk greeting and other customer service aspects, to how servers, cooks and bus people interact. I am willing to work a flexible schedule and am eager to learn other aspects of restaurant management including training, staffing and scheduling.
I have attached my resume along with references from my most recent restaurant jobs (excluding my current one since I don’t want them to know I am looking). I appreciate your consideration and look forward to meeting you personally at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Mirza Babar Qadeer
