Poverty Eradication Imitative (PEI) is a non-political, non-partisan and non-profit organization. My job responsibilities as a coordinator and communication officer are:
Social media and Website Management:
Branding and promotional material requests from PEI’s regional offices.
Compiling, editing and sharing reports, newsletters, articles and other written content for PEI.
Handling of media related activities of PEI.
Consulting media campaign and promotion of PEI.
Support head of communication for the implementation of communication strategy of PEI including emails received via the Contact Us form on the PEI website.
Designing strategy for traffic divert on social media like twitter and Facebook.
Manage media database of videos and photos.
Creating media content for PEI .
Update the PEI official website on daily basis.
Update and Edit the social media content of PEI like twitters, Facebook,Instagram and YouTube.
Making content for official website and official social media page of PEI.
Main responsibilities (in dot points):
Development and rolling out of communications and media strategy for the organization.
Development and monitoring of communications strategy and plans for projects and field offices.
Manage the day-to-day internal and external communications and profiling initiatives of the organization.
Monitoring and ensuring the timely and accurate submission of high-quality reports.
Preparing and sharing information.
Data collection and report writing.
Compile and finalize Reports in accordance with the Plan.
Design digital media campaigns accordingly
Coordinate and manage the creation of all digital content such as website, print ad and videos, etc.
Establish web presence
Maintain and manage all social media channels
Create and manage all published content (images, video and written)
Understanding of all Social Media platforms
Develop, support and promote organizational goals, including message development, social media content creation and media outreach.
Coordinates meetings and strategic activities with the Management Team, and other members
Coordinate with all relevant technical and implementation colleagues and devise the timelines with clear responsibilities for the Concept Notes and proposal development and submission.
Co-ordinate all official engagement through emails and calls.
Arrange and Co-ordinate meetings for workshops, seminars and other academics.
Making briefing and reports for various meetings and seminars if required.
Coordinate and communicate the daily letters, reports, and emails to the Head of the Department.
Checking and co-ordinating emails inbox on official accounts like Gmail, yahoo mail, twitter, and Facebook.
Attend meetings with the client regarding communications, outreach, PR, and media-related issues, program deliverables, and reports.
Ability to work with data and software.
Show a willingness to perform other tasks.
