2D Animator

We are seeking a talented animator to produce engaging cartoon videos for YouTube, managing the entire process from script to final animation. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in character animation, storyboarding, and video editing, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality content on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Create animations using Adobe Animate, including character rigging, tweening, and frame-by-frame techniques.
- Develop storyboards, shot compositions, and animatics to plan and visualize scenes effectively.
- Design characters, backgrounds, and props that align with the project’s visual style.
- Animate character acting with attention to expressions, lip sync, and comedic timing to enhance storytelling.
- Edit videos, incorporate sound effects, and synchronize audio to complement the animation.
- Maintain a consistent visual style throughout all deliverables and communicate clearly with the production team.
- Organize and deliver finished videos along with editable Adobe Animate files and reusable assets for future use.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Animate, including advanced skills in rigging and animation techniques.
- Experience in storyboarding and creating animatics to support animation workflows.
- Strong ability to design and animate characters, backgrounds, and props.
- Skilled in character acting, lip sync, and timing to convey emotions and humor effectively.
- Competence in video editing and audio synchronization to produce polished final videos.
- Reliable work ethic with consistent delivery and clear communication throughout projects.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Gemini for image generation and Google Flow for video generation is a plus but not required.
- Experience using ChatGPT or similar AI platforms to support brainstorming and production processes.
- Ability to adapt AI-generated assets into cohesive and usable animation artwork.
