2D Digital Artist (Hand-Drawn Illustration | Wacom)

ArtVista is seeking skilled and creative 2D Digital Artists and Pixel Artists to join our production team on a part-time, on-site basis in North Karachi, Pakistan. The ideal candidates will have 2 to 3 years of professional experience and demonstrate the ability to produce high-quality original artwork from scratch using drawing tablets such as Wacom, along with industry-standard digital art software. This role requires a strong artistic foundation and the capability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
- Create professional hand-drawn 2D illustrations and digital artwork tailored to project needs.
- Design original characters, character reference sheets, and concept art that align with client specifications.
- Develop detailed pixel art including pixel characters, sprites, and various game assets.
- Produce clean sketches, line art, coloring, and apply professional shading techniques.
- Adapt artwork styles according to diverse client requirements while maintaining quality.
- Manage client revisions efficiently without compromising the integrity of the artwork.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in digital illustration or pixel art.
- Strong hand-drawing skills and solid understanding of artistic fundamentals.
- Proficiency with Wacom tablets or equivalent digital drawing devices.
- Expertise in relevant software such as Clip Studio Paint (CSP), ibisPaint, Aseprite, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, composition, perspective, lighting, and color theory for illustration roles.
- In-depth understanding of pixel art techniques, sprite design, and pixel-level detailing for pixel art roles.
- Ability to create original artwork independently with minimal supervision.
- A professional portfolio showcasing previous work is mandatory for consideration.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.

Additional Information
ArtVista enforces a strict no AI-generated artwork policy. All submitted work must be manually created and original. Candidates may be required to complete a practical drawing assessment during the hiring process to demonstrate genuine drawing skills.

Compensation and Work Environment
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs20,000 to Rs70,000, depending on experience and skill level. This is an on-site role based in North Karachi, requiring candidates to work in person.
