We are seeking a talented and imaginative 2D Game Artist / Designer with 1 to 3 years of experience in mobile game development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating 2D game assets and be proficient in utilizing AI-powered design tools to enhance the creative process. This full-time role requires a blend of artistic skill and technical knowledge to produce high-quality, game-ready visuals that align with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 2D game characters, backgrounds, environments, icons, and other essential assets.
- Develop and manage sprite sheets and basic 2D animations to support game functionality.
- Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, Leonardo AI, Adobe Firefly, and Stable Diffusion to generate and refine artwork.
- Write effective AI prompts to produce consistent and high-quality game visuals.
- Refine AI-generated images into polished, professional assets suitable for game integration.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure assets meet Unity game engine specifications.
- Apply creativity and attention to detail to solve design challenges and enhance the overall player experience.
Required Qualifications
- Proven proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for 2D asset creation.
- Experience designing various game elements including characters, backgrounds, environments, and icons.
- Solid understanding of sprite sheets and basic animation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with AI design tools and the ability to craft precise prompts.
- Familiarity with the technical requirements for Unity game assets.
- Strong creative skills combined with meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
