3D Designer

We are seeking a skilled 3D Apparel Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative virtual garment samples. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced 3D design software to create digital prototypes, helping to streamline the product development process by reducing the need for physical samples. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical and buyer specifications while maintaining high-quality visual presentations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop 3D apparel designs and virtual garment samples using industry-standard software.
- Create digital prototypes aimed at minimizing physical sampling time and associated costs.
- Interpret buyer tech packs, sketches, measurements, and design specifications accurately.
- Simulate fabric drape, texture, stitching, colors, trims, and garment fit to produce realistic virtual samples.
- Incorporate design revisions based on buyer feedback and technical requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with Merchandising, Sampling, Pattern Making, and Product Development teams.
- Prepare high-quality 3D renders, design presentations, and virtual samples for review.
- Maintain precise digital design files and adhere strictly to approved product specifications.

Required Qualifications

- Practical experience with CLO 3D, Browzwear VStitcher, or similar 3D apparel design software.
- Strong understanding of garment patterns, measurements, construction, and fitting techniques.
- Ability to create realistic fabric simulations and detailed 3D garment renders.
- Familiarity with apparel tech packs and the overall product development lifecycle.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with creativity and effective problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Candidates holding a diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Apparel Technology, or related fields will be preferred. However, applicants with a robust portfolio demonstrating practical software skills and design expertise will also be considered.

This position requires working on-site to facilitate direct collaboration with various departments and ensure seamless communication throughout the design and development stages.
