3D Motion Graphics Designer

Key Responsibilities
- Design and animate high-quality 3D and 2D motion graphics to support product demonstrations, marketing campaigns, and internal communications.
- Collaborate effectively with product, marketing, and engineering teams to translate complex concepts into clear and engaging visual narratives.
- Develop storyboards, create assets, composite sequences, and refine animations based on feedback to ensure polished final outputs.
- Maintain visual consistency aligned with brand guidelines across all motion graphics and video content.
- Manage project timelines, organize files, and maintain thorough project documentation to ensure smooth workflow and delivery.
- Contribute creative ideas and innovative approaches to enhance the visual impact of Obsidian Labs’ software and AI solutions.

Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in motion design and motion graphics, with hands-on experience in 3D animation tools and workflows.
- Proficiency in video production processes, including storyboarding, editing, and asset preparation for digital platforms.
- Solid graphic design abilities, demonstrating a clear understanding of composition, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience with industry-standard software such as After Effects, Cinema 4D or Blender, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent tools.
- Ability to simplify and visually communicate complex technical or AI-related concepts through engaging storytelling.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant 3D motion graphics and video work, preferably related to technology or digital products.
- Relevant educational background or equivalent professional experience in motion design, animation, graphic design, or a related field.
