We are seeking a talented Product UI/UX Designer for a focused two-month contract to lead the redesign of Fazier.com, a platform dedicated to helping founders launch, discover, and promote startups, SaaS products, and side projects. This role involves creating a fresh, in-house product design that balances modern aesthetics with functional clarity. The redesign aims to establish a distinct Fazier identity that is clean, fast, and easy to navigate, drawing inspiration from leading platforms without replicating them.
Key Responsibilities
- Redesign the Fazier.com platform with a user-centric approach, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for founders and users.
- Develop a unique design system that integrates best practices and design patterns from platforms such as Peerlist, ProductHunt, Contra, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that reflect a modern, minimal, and information-dense interface.
- Collaborate closely with product and development teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency throughout the implementation process.
- Maintain a balance between aesthetic appeal and functional usability, focusing on speed, clarity, and ease of navigation.
- Deliver design assets and documentation that support smooth handoff and future scalability of the product.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Product UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing redesign projects or new product designs.
- Expertise in creating clean, minimalistic interfaces with a focus on information density and user engagement.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices in web and product design.
- Ability to adapt and synthesize design inspirations from multiple sources into a cohesive and original product identity.
- Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience designing platforms related to startups, SaaS products, or community-driven marketplaces is a plus.
- Familiarity with the design language and user experience of Peerlist, ProductHunt, Contra, LinkedIn, and Twitter will be advantageous.
- Opportunity to influence the visual and functional direction of a growing platform in the startup ecosystem.
- Flexible remote work arrangement during the contract period.
- This is a short-term engagement with a clear scope, ideal for designers looking to contribute to a high-impact project without long-term commitment.
If you are passionate about crafting user experiences that are both beautiful and practical, and you enjoy working on projects that challenge conventional design norms, this contract role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Fazier.com.
