Academic Guide - Language & Soft Skills

E-Services & Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd., based in Karachi, is seeking an Academic Guide specializing in Language and Soft Skills to join STREAMS Academy International and support partner schools across the city. This role goes beyond traditional teaching, focusing on empowering learners to communicate confidently, think critically, express ideas clearly, and develop essential human skills that technology cannot replace. The ideal candidate will mentor students through interactive, learner-driven experiences that foster communication, leadership, collaboration, creativity, research, and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate learner-driven experiences in language and soft skills development.
- Guide learners in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and effective communication.
- Build learners’ confidence in public speaking, presentations, storytelling, and debate.
- Mentor students in research, report writing, documentation, and academic communication.
- Promote collaboration, leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills through projects and real-world challenges.
- Strengthen learners’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Apply First Principles Thinking and the Creative Process to enhance communication and learning.
- Integrate language skills with Science, Engineering, AI, Technology, Arts, and Service Learning.
- Design yearly and course planners, set learner milestones, and conduct portfolio reviews.
- Conduct mentoring sessions and milestone meetings with learners.
- Deliver workshops and educational programs at partner schools throughout Karachi.
- Represent the organization at competitions, exhibitions, conferences, and educational events.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Linguistics, Education, Communication, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong understanding of communication, leadership, and learner development principles.
- Ability to simplify complex ideas and inspire confidence in learners.
- Experience in public speaking, debate, Model United Nations, theatre, storytelling, creative writing, or similar activities is advantageous.
- Comfortable using digital tools and AI to enhance learning experiences.
- Strong facilitation, mentoring, and coaching skills.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary learning and innovation.
- Willingness to travel across Karachi to support partner schools and programs.
- A facilitative mindset focused on guiding rather than instructing.
