ESAR MART is looking for a proactive Accounts Manager to oversee and maintain accurate financial records as the company expands its retail and digital operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in integrating purchases, inventory, POS sales, and online transactions into clear and reliable financial reports. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can ensure strong financial controls and support the company’s growth through effective accounting management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely month-end closing.
- Reconcile cash, bank accounts, POS sales, online receipts, and supplier balances to maintain accuracy.
- Match purchase orders, goods received, and supplier invoices, investigating any discrepancies found.
- Monitor inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, profit margins, returns, and stock adjustments.
- Maintain accurate records of subscription receipts, customer rewards, and related obligations in line with approved policies.
- Prepare cash-flow forecasts, management reports, and payment schedules to support financial planning.
- Coordinate payroll processes and assist with tax filings in collaboration with the appointed tax adviser.
- Enhance Odoo accounting workflows, documentation, and approval controls to improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant accounting or finance qualification; candidates pursuing ACCA, CA, or CMA certifications will be preferred.
- Proven experience managing accounts within retail, distribution, FMCG, or e-commerce sectors.
- Strong skills in reconciliation, inventory accounting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; practical experience with Odoo or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail, a high level of confidentiality, and the confidence to identify and report discrepancies.
