Account Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and taxation, with hands-on experience in bookkeeping, sales tax reconciliation, and financial reporting. This role requires proficiency in managing accounts payable, conducting reconciliations, and working efficiently with accounting software and MS Excel. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records.
- Handle sales tax processes including SRB, PRA, and FBR reconciliation.
- Manage withholding tax deductions and ensure timely FBR payments.
- Prepare and file quarterly tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable operations and perform regular reconciliations.
- Utilize MS Excel and accounting software to support financial data management.
- Apply strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify discrepancies and improve processes.

Required Qualifications
- M.Com degree, ACCA part-qualified, or an equivalent qualification.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping, accounting principles, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software applications.
