Account Officer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely processing of transactions, and preparing financial reports. This role requires strong bookkeeping skills, proficiency with ERP systems, and the ability to work with financial data across multiple companies and clients, sometimes involving international transactions. The position is based in Lahore, with occasional travel expected.

Key Responsibilities:
- Settle company accounting records by determining exact amounts payable and pending cash receipts.
- Manage and process financial transactions involving various companies and clients, including cross-border dealings.
- Complete all financial tasks within the designated accounting period, ensuring no detail is overlooked.
- Cross-check entries in accounting books and financial statements to identify and resolve errors promptly.
- Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay orders, payables, receivables, and purchase orders using ERP software.
- Prepare account reports and submit them to higher management accurately and on time.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
- Previous experience with reconciliations, credit, and debit reports.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records accurately.
- Strong data entry skills and a good aptitude for working with numbers.
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and ERP software.
- Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office applications.
- Customer service orientation coupled with negotiation skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Degree in a relevant field.

- Location preference for candidates based in Lahore.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs35,000 to Rs50,000.
