Account Receivable Executive ( Medical Billing)

Meds Nexus is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Executive to join their growing team. This full-time, on-site position is based in Rawalpindi at Asghar Mall Road and operates on an evening/night shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing and accounts receivable, specifically handling US-based clients. This role involves managing the entire billing cycle, denial management, and insurance appeals to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

Key Responsibilities
- Review patient claims thoroughly to ensure accuracy, completeness, and inclusion of all necessary billing details before submission.
- Conduct end-to-end follow-ups on unpaid or aged accounts receivable within standard cycle times.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies such as payment errors, underpayments, and claim denials.
- Prepare and submit formal appeals to insurance carriers with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Verify insurance payments against contract discounts for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
- Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances as applicable, and handle patient or insurance-related phone inquiries professionally.
- Generate detailed daily and weekly accounts receivable research reports and management performance summaries using MS Excel.
- Maintain accurate documentation of tasks and communicate clearly with Team Leads and Managers to ensure smooth workflow.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in US medical billing, accounts receivable follow-up, and denial management.
- Proficiency with EHR and billing software such as AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks, Kareo/Tebra, Practice Fusion, OfficeAlly, EncoderPro, and various payer portals.
- Strong technical skills including advanced MS Excel capabilities, familiarity with web faxing tools, and a fast typing speed.
- Solid understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding, insurance guidelines including Medicare and Medicaid, and prior authorization processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
