We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant / Accounts Executive to manage the hospital’s daily accounting and financial records. The ideal candidate will be entrusted with maintaining accurate financial documentation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management in financial control processes. This role requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in accounting software to handle routine transactions and reporting efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounts, including income and expense records.
- Reconcile petty cash on a daily basis to ensure accuracy.
- Record and manage patient-related income and receipts systematically.
- Maintain daily expenses, payments, vouchers, and all supporting documentation.
- Keep detailed records of consultants’ visits, professional fees, and percentage-based payments, including preparation and verification of related vouchers.
- Organize and maintain previous accounting records and documentation in an orderly manner.
- Ensure all accounting records are accurate, complete, and properly filed for easy retrieval.
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries using accounting software efficiently.
- Prepare basic financial reports, reconciliations, and statements as requested by management.
- Assist management in maintaining proper financial controls and documentation.
- Coordinate and assist external auditors during audits by providing necessary records and information.
- Identify and correct any gaps or inconsistencies in existing accounting records to maintain data integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration with a focus on Finance or Accounting, or an equivalent qualification.
- Candidates pursuing professional accounting certifications such as ICMA or CA with relevant accounting knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is essential.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, including vouchers, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial record-keeping.

- The position offers a monthly salary ranging from Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000.
