We are looking for a meticulous Accountant Executive to join our Accounts team on a full-time, on-site basis in Rawalpindi. This position operates during the night shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will handle essential financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and working closely with executive leadership and external auditors. Maintaining ledger accuracy and safeguarding the company’s financial integrity are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities with strong internal controls over all financial transactions.
- Maintain and review the general ledger daily to ensure adherence to GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Oversee full-cycle accounts payable and receivable processes to guarantee timely payments and collections.
- Administer multi-level payroll processing, ensuring correct statutory deductions and prompt payments.
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and clearing accounts to verify accuracy.
- Audit vendor bills and client invoices by cross-checking against contracts, purchase orders, and receipts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing, ledger entries, and transactions efficiently.
- Review and audit expense reports, ensuring compliance with departmental budgets and company policies.
- Monitor financial indicators such as cash flow statements, aging schedules, and budget variances.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports including daily, weekly, and monthly income statements and balance sheets.
- Develop advanced financial models and Excel tools using pivot tables, data models, and XLOOKUP for budget forecasting.
- Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and compliance partners.
- Compile necessary financial documents for corporate tax filings, audits, and statutory reviews.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor budgets, control overhead costs, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of corporate experience in full-cycle accounting, financial statement preparation, and ledger management.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS frameworks, corporate tax laws, payroll systems, and internal audit procedures.
- Proficiency in major accounting ERP software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books, SAP, or Oracle.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis, with high numerical accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, suitable for professional reporting and presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com / BS Finance), or part-qualified credentials such as ACCA, CA, or CIMA.

This role requires on-site presence at our Rawalpindi office located on Murree Road, Asghar Mall.
