EZ MD Solutions is a US-focused healthcare services company that supports physician practices across the United States by providing Virtual Medical Assistant, Medical Scribing, Medical Billing, and Revenue Cycle Management services. With operations based in Rawalpindi and a growing contractor team across Latin America, the company is expanding its finance function to support this growth. We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to lead and strengthen our accounting processes, ensuring clean, audit-ready books across both US and Pakistan operations. This role goes beyond traditional bookkeeping, requiring a proactive financial partner who can deliver clear, actionable insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Operations:
- Maintain and enhance QuickBooks Online, including chart of accounts, workflows, and reporting structures.
- Manage accounting activities for EZ MD’s US entity and Pakistan operations, handling intercompany transactions and multi-currency (USD/PKR) activities.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes and prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable for US client practices, including monthly billing, collections tracking, and revenue recognition.
- Manage Accounts Payable, including payments to contractors across Pakistan and Latin America.
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations, maintain the general ledger, and prepare journal entries and accruals.
- Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness of financial records.

Financial Analysis & Advisory:
- Serve as a proactive financial advisor to leadership, moving beyond transactional accounting.
- Develop forecasts, budgets, and financial models to support company growth and new service lines.
- Analyze profitability by service line (VMA, Scribing, Billing, RCM) and by client account.
- Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses, conducting variance analysis against budgets.
- Create dashboards for real-time financial performance visibility.
- Identify financial risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities early to support business decisions.

Tax, Compliance & Controls:
- Coordinate with external US and Pakistan tax advisors and auditors.
- Prepare documentation for tax filings, audits, and compliance.
- Support payroll and contractor compensation reconciliation in collaboration with HR.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, processes, and internal controls.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ACCA or CA finalist status (required).
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to US accounting standards.
- Proficiency in US GAAP and strong understanding of accrual accounting and general ledger management.
- Experience managing multi-entity and multi-currency accounting.
- Proven track record of ownership for month-end and year-end close processes.
- Skilled in preparing and analyzing financial statements, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the finance function.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience in services, BPO, or healthcare accounting is a plus.
- Familiarity coordinating with external tax advisors.
- Advanced skills in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Competitive monthly compensation ranging from Rs150,000 to Rs200,000 based on experience.
