ASE Cold Care Facility, a rapidly expanding organization, is seeking a qualified Male Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general accounting principles along with hands-on experience in manufacturing and store accounting within a computerized environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and data entry records.
- Prepare payment and receipt vouchers in a timely manner.
- Verify control documents such as Purchase Orders, Goods Received Notes (GRN), and stock requisitions.
- Apply knowledge of internal controls related to procurement and accounts payable processes.
- Conduct bank reconciliations regularly.
- Coordinate with vendors and customers to resolve reconciliation issues.
- Utilize accounting software, preferably ERP systems, for daily operations.
- Collaborate effectively with various internal departments to ensure smooth financial processes.
- Prepare GRN/MRN upon receipt of raw materials in the store.
- Keep detailed records of raw material issuance and consumption.
- Participate in periodic physical stock-taking activities.
- Manage petty cash and imprest funds, ensuring timely preparation of cash payment and receipt vouchers.
- Assist in the monthly disbursement of salaries and wages to site staff and laborers.
- Handle banking transactions, including visits to the bank as required.
- Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned from time to time.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Master of Commerce (M.COM), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or part-qualified CMA.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience is mandatory.
- Male candidates between the ages of 25 and 40 years are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience in cold storage accounting will be highly advantageous.
- The position is full-time and requires the candidate to work on-site.
