Umar Store is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial health of the business. This role demands strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple accounting tasks efficiently. The position is based on-site at our office in Hyderabad, located in Sabreena Tower, opposite Dawood Super Mart on Faujdari Road.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily sales and expense records to ensure precise financial tracking.
- Manage cash, bank, and online transactions with accuracy.
- Prepare daily, monthly, and yearly accounts to facilitate financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Handle party ledgers and payment records, keeping them up to date.
- Perform bank and cash reconciliations to confirm financial accuracy.
- Generate financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation to support audits and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for effective data management and analysis.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial record-keeping.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all accounting tasks.
- Demonstrated honesty, organization, and a responsible work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Prior experience in accounting is preferred to ensure familiarity with accounting processes.
- Knowledge of accounting software and POS systems is an advantage.
- Competitive salary starting from Rs30,000 per month.
