We are seeking a full-time Accountant to join a courier and cargo company based in Islamabad, Pakistan. This on-site position operates during morning shifts and requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience. The role involves supporting various accounting functions to ensure smooth financial operations within the organization. The salary range for this position is PKR 50,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial ledgers accurately and timely.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and process invoices related to shipments and other company transactions.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all financial records are complete and accurate.
- Generate financial reports to support management decision-making.
- Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Verify shipment charges and related financial entries to maintain accuracy in billing and accounting.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of practical experience in accounting or a related field.
- A relevant bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Equivalent professional accounting qualifications or substantial practical experience will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in maintaining ledgers, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with tax filing processes and audit requirements.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment during morning shifts.
