Accountant

Textile Trends, established in 2012, is a vertically integrated textile manufacturing company based in Faisalabad, Pakistan’s industrial hub often referred to as the “Manchester of Pakistan.” The company specializes in knitting through to packing, supported by skilled technicians and experienced operators, ensuring competitive costs and high-quality output. Utilizing a centralized computerized system, Textile Trends maintains efficient production processes with short lead times and consistent quality, emphasizing reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
The Accountant will oversee daily financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, supporting payroll processes, and monitoring cash flow to guarantee accurate and timely financial reporting. The role also involves assisting with budgeting and cost analysis specific to manufacturing operations. Additionally, the Accountant will support internal and external audits by preparing and organizing necessary documentation. Collaboration with production, procurement, and management teams is essential to provide financial insights that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pakistan.

Required Qualifications
- Strong expertise in financial accounting, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable processes, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis, preferably within a manufacturing or textile environment.
- Familiarity with computerized accounting systems and ERP or centralized financial software.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards, taxation principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CMA are advantageous.
- Ability to work full-time on-site, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced industrial setting.
