Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Accounting & Commission Reconciliation Specialist to join our back-office team supporting insurance agencies based in the USA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounting entries, bookkeeping, and commission reconciliation, with a strong understanding of U.S. accounting practices and documentation. This role requires working closely with U.S.-based businesses, preferably within the insurance sector, to ensure accurate financial record management and timely reconciliation of commissions and bank accounts.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate accounting entries and maintain bookkeeping records.
- Reconcile insurance commissions and ensure all commission statements are verified against internal records.
- Conduct bank and account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Manage and organize financial records in compliance with U.S. accounting standards.
- Collaborate with U.S.-based insurance agencies to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations.
- Handle large volumes of transactions with attention to detail and accuracy.

Required Qualifications
- Proven practical experience in accounting entries and bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of commission reconciliation processes.
- Experience with bank and account reconciliations.
- Familiarity with U.S. accounting practices and documentation requirements.
- Prior experience working with U.S.-based businesses, preferably insurance agencies.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage high transaction volumes accurately.

- Understanding of the U.S. insurance market and commission structures.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs100,000.
- Work location is in person at Karimabad, Block 4, Karachi.
- Working hours are from 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM to align with U.S. business hours.
