The role involves managing and verifying the monthly payroll for restaurant employees, covering salaries, incentives, deductions, reimbursements, advances, and statutory contributions. This position ensures accurate payroll accounting, timely reconciliations, compliance with tax regulations, and the preparation of payroll-related reports. The incumbent will work closely with finance and HR teams to maintain payroll integrity and support various audits and financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify monthly payroll, including employee reimbursements, deductions, and payroll accruals.
- Prepare payroll journals and accounting entries, ensuring reconciliation of payroll data with the General Ledger.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, registers, supporting documentation, and employee tax files.
- Assist with tax certificates, tax filings, sales tax documentation, and payroll-related audits.
- Generate payroll, labor-cost, KPI, variance, and manpower-cost reports for management review.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, payroll budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Review employee cost reports and payroll reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintain confidentiality, and escalate payroll or compliance issues as necessary.
- Support ERP payroll system implementation, system enhancements, process improvements, and internal/external audits.
- Perform additional finance and payroll duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in payroll management, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles, statutory compliance, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software and ERP systems, with the ability to support system implementations and upgrades.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll data and reconciliations.
- Ability to prepare detailed financial reports and analyze payroll-related variances.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and escalate issues appropriately.
