Key Responsibilities
The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial operations across multiple restaurant locations and franchises. This includes accurately recording financial transactions, preparing and posting journal entries, and maintaining general ledgers. The role requires reconciling bank and cash accounts, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with payroll calculations and expense tracking. The Accountant will prepare periodic financial statements and management reports, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Close collaboration with operations and management teams is essential to analyze costs, support inventory and sales reporting, and uphold the financial integrity and efficiency of the organization.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in financial accounting and bookkeeping, including experience with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and basic financial analysis is necessary to support management decision-making. Familiarity with accounting software and spreadsheet tools such as Excel is required, along with the ability to work comfortably with POS or restaurant management systems. A solid understanding of applicable accounting standards, local tax regulations, and internal control best practices is essential. Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the capacity to manage multiple accounts and locations simultaneously are critical. Effective communication and collaboration skills are needed to work closely with finance, operations, and management teams. The role requires the ability to work on-site in Karāchi, prioritize tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality of financial information. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, with prior experience in hospitality or retail environments considered an advantage.
