Accountant

Scarsdale International School’s newest branch in Bahria Town is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with a minimum of 3.5 years of professional experience and completed articles. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, account reconciliation, tax preparation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate financial reports and maintain well-organized records.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation of ledgers.
- Handle tax documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, collaborating closely with other departments.
- Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Required Qualifications
- Ideally, 3 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience; candidates with less experience will be considered only under exceptional circumstances.
- Completion of articles is mandatory.
- A degree from a reputable and accredited accounting program is required.
