Accountant

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks such as recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes while monitoring cash flow to maintain financial stability.
- Assist with budgeting, cost analysis, and financial performance reviews related to manufacturing and export operations.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors to support audit processes and improve financial controls.
- Provide timely and accurate financial data to support management decision-making and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of taxation and regulatory compliance, including local tax laws, statutory filings, and audit support.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work effectively with spreadsheets, formulas, and financial data analysis.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial performance evaluation.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to liaise effectively with finance teams, management, suppliers, and auditors.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CMA are advantageous.
