Accountant

Shafaq n Kami is seeking a professional and responsible Accountant to join our team based in Gulberg, Lahore. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and experienced in managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting senior management with financial data. This is a full-time, in-person position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs30,000 to Rs40,000.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle and maintain general accounting entries along with daily financial records.
- Maintain accurate Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable records.
- Prepare and update expense sheets on a daily basis to ensure timely tracking of expenditures.
- Organize and maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables to support cash flow management.
- Assist in preparing basic financial reports and summaries for internal use.
- Keep accounting files and records organized and accurate for easy retrieval.
- Provide support to senior management by preparing accounting-related reports and data as needed.
- Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of all financial information handled.
- Perform additional accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the accounting field is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of debit and credit entries, general ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and expense management.
- Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets for data management and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate responsibility in handling sensitive financial information.
