We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to maintain compliance and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities by providing relevant financial data and analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Monitor and control company expenses to optimize financial performance.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
