Cordatus Resources Group, a global business process outsourcing and consulting firm, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support accounting and bookkeeping functions for our U.S.-based clients. The successful candidate will have practical accounting experience, strong analytical abilities, and a good understanding of international accounting standards. This role provides a unique opportunity to work with diverse U.S. businesses across various industries and gain valuable exposure to global financial processes while working remotely from Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities:
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
- Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts.
- Review financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with client-facing teams to ensure financial accuracy and timely reporting.
- Assist in audit preparation and maintain compliance-related documentation.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and client-specific reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- ACCA or CA (Part Qualified / Currently Pursuing).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems is preferred.
- Proficient in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate professionally with U.S.-based clients and stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
- Availability to work full-time during U.S. business hours (6:00 PM – 3:00 AM Pakistan Time, Monday to Friday).

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with U.S. clients or familiarity with international accounting processes.
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems and financial technologies.
- Experience in outsourced accounting or shared services environments.
