Accountant - Textile Manufacturing

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the daily accounting and financial operations of our textile manufacturing business. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, inventory management, costing, taxation, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills. Experience within the textile or manufacturing sector is highly preferred to effectively manage the unique financial aspects of this industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory accounting processes.
- Monitor production costs, inventory valuation, and analyze cost variances to support cost control initiatives.
- Assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and preparation of management reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and internal company policies.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities for smooth financial operations and audits.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to management for informed decision-making.
- Handle accounting and documentation related to import/export activities where applicable.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ensuring timely reporting.
- Perform additional finance and accounting duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
- 8 to 12 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within textile manufacturing or a related industrial environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, costing, and inventory management.
- Good understanding of manufacturing and textile cost structures, including yarn, fabric, and production-related expenses.
- Proven experience in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP and accounting software systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including the use of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of taxation, compliance, and import/export documentation specific to Pakistan.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Candidates who are ACCA, CA, CMA, ICMA, CIMA qualified or finalists will be preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- The position offers a monthly salary range of Rs90,000 to Rs175,000.
- The role requires in-person attendance at the workplace.
