Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager position is a full-time, on-site role based in Faisalabad, responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations of the organization. This role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, supervising journal entries, and maintaining the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance. The Accounting Manager will also manage fixed asset records, ensure adherence to accounting standards and company policies, and support finance-related planning and reporting activities. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing analytical insights to aid management decision-making, and leading and mentoring the accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Supervise journal entries and maintain the general ledger to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Manage fixed asset records, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support finance-related planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities by providing detailed financial analysis and insights.
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff to enhance team performance and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals and provide financial expertise for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize accounting software and MS Excel proficiently to manage financial data and reporting tasks.
- Manage multiple priorities effectively while working on-site in Faisalabad.

Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Proficiency in journal entries and general ledger management.
- Solid understanding of finance principles, including cash flow management and financial reporting.
- Experience in managing fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in an accounting leadership or supervisory role, preferably within a technology or services organization.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Faisalabad.
