Accounting Operations Specialist

Sequel Technologies, a healthcare IT and medical billing software company serving the US market, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join their team. This full-time, on-site role is based in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi, with working hours from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM. The successful candidate will manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, solid accounting knowledge, and excellent English communication skills are essential to effectively collaborate with US-based clients and international teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, and payment processing.
- Maintain accurate financial records, prepare journal entries, and compile expense reports.
- Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and financial reporting.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies while ensuring record accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and US-based clients on accounting matters.
- Support audits, financial documentation, budgeting, and forecasting activities as needed.
- Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and company policies.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are mandatory to interact professionally with US-based clients and international stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
