Accounting Specialist

Sequel Technologies, a software company specializing in healthcare IT and medical billing services for the US market, is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their team. This full-time, on-site position is based in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi, with working hours from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Candidates must reside in Bahria Town Phase 7/8, DHA Phase 1/3, Askari 14, Humak, or nearby areas, with preference given to those living close to the office location.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, expense reports, and payment runs.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors.
- Assist with audits and financial documentation.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
