A leading fintech firm based in Australia is seeking a Supervisor Accounts to manage accounting operations and lead the accounting team. This role focuses on ensuring financial accuracy, compliance with international accounting standards, and delivering exceptional financial services to clients. The ideal candidate will streamline processes, maintain strong client relationships, and support business decisions through insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily accounting and bookkeeping activities, ensuring accurate data entry in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero. Verify the integrity of financial records and reports.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and reports to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery to clients and management.
- Monitor cash flow, revenues, and expenses regularly, providing actionable insights and recommendations to address variances and enhance financial health.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records, promptly investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international accounting and tax regulations, ensuring full compliance with relevant laws and industry standards.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team by providing training, guidance, and support. Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Identify inefficiencies in accounting workflows and implement best practices and automation tools to improve accuracy and streamline processes.
- Manage client relationships, acting as the primary contact for US-based clients, addressing queries, and offering financial advice to build long-term partnerships.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation, addressing audit findings, and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and senior management to provide financial insights that support strategic business decisions.

Required Qualifications:
- CA Finalist or Qualified, CIMA, ICMA, ACCA (Finalist or Qualified).
- A Master’s degree or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
- 6 to 10 years of accounting experience, preferably with international clients or within BPO/audit firms.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing accounting teams.

Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of International GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.

Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Professionalism and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential financial information.

- Location: SMCHS Karachi
- Working Hours: 4 PM to 1 AM PKT
