Premier Services, a reputable construction and renovation company based in Islamabad, Pakistan, has been delivering expert turnkey solutions for residential and commercial projects nationwide since 2004. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts & Finance Assistant to support our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with financial reporting and documentation to ensure smooth financial processes within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain daily accounting records with precise data entry to ensure accuracy.
- Record and verify all sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and related supporting documents.
- Perform bank and cash reconciliations, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain ledgers and assist in the monthly account closing process.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, expense reports, and management reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
- Support salary and payroll preparation along with other finance-related tasks.
- Monitor expenses and maintain accurate records aligned with budgets where applicable.
- Assist with tax-related documentation and maintain withholding tax records.
- Provide support to senior accounts and finance staff during audits and other financial activities.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and supported by relevant documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounts or finance, preferably within the construction or services sector.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including the use of formulas, sorting, filtering, and reporting functions.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping, ledgers, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work effectively within the team.
