Accounts and Finance Officer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Officer with strong expertise in QuickBooks and excellent English communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing various reports, and supporting accounting functions to ensure smooth financial operations. This full-time position is based in DHA Phase 1, Lahore, with working hours from 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using QuickBooks. Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments. Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss (P&L) statements along with other financial reports. Compile monthly and periodic management accounts to support decision-making. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently. Prepare and monitor invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records to ensure accuracy. Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly. Monitor company expenses and maintain proper supporting documentation. Assist with payroll-related accounting and maintain salary records as required. Maintain accurate cash and petty cash records. Monitor outstanding customer and supplier balances to ensure timely collections and payments. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities. Ensure all financial records are properly organized and maintained. Assist management and external auditors by providing necessary financial information. Complete accounting activities accurately and within deadlines. Maintain confidentiality of all company financial information. Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and applicable accounting standards.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is essential. Proven experience in an Accounts Officer role or a similar accounting position is required. Strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience with QuickBooks is mandatory. Good understanding of Profit & Loss statements and financial reporting is necessary. Solid bookkeeping and accounting skills, including experience with bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Good numerical and analytical abilities to interpret financial data effectively. Ability to manage deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent English communication skills in all forms are required; IELTS or equivalent proof is advantageous and mandatory. Willingness to travel 100% as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
This position is located in DHA Phase 1, Lahore, and requires in-person attendance. The salary range is Rs. 55,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month, with the possibility of an increment after a 3-month performance review. Payments are made on the 15th of the following month. Holiday pay is double for any day worked. The shift timing is from 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Immediate availability to start is preferred.
