Accounts Executive

Kass Cosmetics, a well-established skincare and toiletries manufacturer since 2005, is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive specializing in e-commerce reconciliation. Based at their Shaheed-e-Millat Road office in Karachi, this full-time role operates Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data across multiple sales channels, including Shopify, Daraz, and Noon. With a focus on reconciling complex marketplace transactions, commissions, returns, and payments, this position demands meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Kass Cosmetics exports to over 17 countries and manages a dynamic multi-channel retail environment, making this role essential for maintaining seamless financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform multi-way reconciliation by matching order data from Shopify, Daraz, and Noon against payment gateway settlements and actual bank deposits.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between marketplace sales reports, courier COD statements, and cash received to ensure accuracy.
- Track and account for platform deductions such as commissions, referral fees, shipping weight adjustments, and promotional discounts.
- Manage returns, reverse logistics charges, cancellations, and refunds, ensuring inventory and accounting records remain aligned.
- Handle daily accounting tasks including vouchers, receipts, payments, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor reconciliations.
- Support monthly and annual financial closings, prepare management reports, and assist with audit coordination.

Required Qualifications

- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience with direct, hands-on involvement in e-commerce or marketplace reconciliation is essential.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and handling large data exports.
- Practical knowledge of ERP or accounting software, with experience in Odoo considered a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools specific to Daraz Seller Center or Shopify.
- A strong investigative mindset with the persistence to resolve discrepancies thoroughly rather than overlooking them.
