We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and corporate finance. As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with experienced finance professionals, gaining valuable industry insights while contributing to projects that have a meaningful impact on the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Process vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate entry into the accounting system.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare payment schedules and process vendor payments within agreed timelines.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in coordination with internal departments and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and supporting documents.
- Support month-end closing activities and accounts payable reconciliations.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and finance teams regarding invoice approvals and payment inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Perform additional finance and accounting duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with financial modeling is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
