We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Accounts Intern to join the Accounts & Finance team at Mohsyn, based in Islamabad at Naval Anchorage. This full-time internship is designed for fresh graduates or final-year students and offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting within a growing organization. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, recording daily transactions, and ensuring that the books of accounts are well-organized and up to date. Successful completion of the internship may lead to a full-time job offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions, including payments, receipts, invoices, and expenses.
- Maintain accurate and updated books of accounts using accounting software.
- Organize financial documents, invoices, vouchers, and supporting records systematically.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and verify financial entries for accuracy.
- Support the Accounts team with basic financial reports and monthly closing activities.
- Identify discrepancies in records and coordinate with the team to resolve them promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Fresh graduate or final-year student in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data management.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to accounting software and ERP systems.
- Responsible and dependable with a comfort level in handling financial records.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
