Accounts Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Accounts Manager to lead the accounting and financial operations within a manufacturing, retail, or hospitality setting. This role demands oversight of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, taxation, internal controls, audits, and cost management. The successful candidate will provide accurate financial insights to support strategic business decisions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, cash flow reports, and variance analyses.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and monitor overall financial performance.
- Oversee cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payment processing activities.
- Ensure timely tax compliance and regulatory reporting, coordinating with tax advisors as needed.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls, accounting systems, and financial policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring prompt resolution of audit findings.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, expenditures, and budgets, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Identify and manage financial risks while ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Lead, train, and develop the accounts and finance team to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Provide management with detailed financial analysis, dashboards, and actionable insights to facilitate decision-making.
- Maintain strong relationships with senior management, auditors, banks, financial institutions, and other key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

- CA Part Qualified, ACCA, CMA Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- 12 to 15 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, taxation, and cost control.
- Experience managing audits, internal controls, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable government laws and financial regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a finance team effectively.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience using SAP Business One (SAP-B1) is required.
- At least 5 years of experience handling accounts specifically for a manufacturing concern.
- The position is based on-site and requires in-person attendance.
- Monthly salary range: Rs250,000 to Rs260,000.
