We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Executive to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing outgoing payments, ensuring timely and accurate vendor settlements, and supporting financial controls and compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and verify vendor invoices accurately and promptly.
- Match invoices with purchase orders (POs) and goods receipt notes (GRNs) to ensure accuracy.
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors according to agreed payment terms.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation.
- Respond to vendor inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including AP aging reports and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other departments to resolve invoice-related issues.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary invoices, payment records, and documentation.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
- Strong understanding of invoice processing, purchase order matching, and vendor reconciliation.
- Familiarity with financial controls, tax compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment is mandatory.
