Accounts/finance executive

Hala Drive Car Rental LLC, a UAE-based car rental company with a dedicated Lahore back office supporting its UAE operations, is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accounts & Finance Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, maintaining financial records, performing reconciliations, and coordinating closely with the UAE management and operations teams. This role demands strong accounting knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and experience in handling financial transactions and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate daily accounting records, including sales, rental income, expenses, receipts, and payments.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, verifying invoices, bills, receipts, and supporting documents to ensure timely and accurate financial transaction recording.
- Perform daily or periodic bank reconciliations, matching bank transactions with accounting records and payment receipts while monitoring customer collections and company payments.
- Maintain customer ledgers and supplier accounts, verify rental invoices, customer payments, refunds, and outstanding balances, and coordinate with the Receivables Team on overdue accounts.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, assist in profit and loss statements, expense summaries, and track company income, operating expenses, and cash flow.
- Coordinate with UAE management, Accounts, Operations, and Sales teams to verify financial information, maintain records of rental revenue, expenses, and transactions, and monitor branch-related financial activities.
- Support tax and compliance efforts by preparing accounting records for UAE VAT compliance, assisting with Corporate Tax reporting, and coordinating with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants.
- Follow company accounting policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information, review transactions for accuracy, report discrepancies, and ensure proper filing of financial documents.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and ability to manage multiple financial tasks under deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
